To conclude, Disney is a transnational corporation because over the years it has used a variety of cultures, races and ethnicities within their films and the staff they hire. Also, within these films they address a variety of morals which are universal all over the world, mainly directed at children, thus always having a market for their films. On the other hand, there are still stereotypes and issues such as Orientalism within these films that can be deemed offensive and can not be justified. Can Disney be held responsible for creating derogative caricatures, or as a society do we rely on these stereotypes to understand film within the time restraints set by the industry?
